You just got mixed up because the post was to Angelhaunt and then I went off and started talking about my dumb neighbor and a gas leak.
Anyway, I feel like two dead flies on a rotten watermelon.

You know, it really is a great comfort to think there's something like heaven waiting for those of us who do our best to be good. Of course, what is "good" depends on a bunch of things I could not explain.
Then we have a tornado like in Oklahoma and all bets appear to be off.
I can't make heads or tails out of most of it.

This is the same damn lady who was renting out her apartment a few years ago like a frigging hotel room. She nearly lost the place them and now? Well, from what I was just told - she might be up to her old tricks again. She's not there and has apparently left someone else there who was irresponsible and left the gas on.
Well - they won't be getting back into that apartment until they come and get the key from me which is when I am going to talk to them really firmly.
Dumb fuckers who don't know how to behave in an apartment building. I don't really understand why they could be that stupid. Surely they lived elsewhere and had a thing like a stove in it that had to be turned off and on.
Thank goodness it didn't take three days to turn it off this time like last time when the idiot right beneath me left his gas on for three days before anybody at that landlord's office would listen to me. I guess they're sloooooooowly learning that I'm not a liar nor do I even exaggerate.

I know people come first of course and I am very concerned for everybody who might be stuck somewhere under rubble and unable to get out to food or water etc. I am also worried about the countless animals who are in dire straits right now.
The worst thing is that school building collapsing. Like what the hell? In a place like that, don't they have storm cellars for the schools?
Those poor children and their parents. I can't even imagine what it might be like to lose a child to death. I can't even stand it when one of my pets die. They're a lot like children who never grow up and they get so close to you because if you love them and they love you - they're always right there like a little shadow following you around. They want to be close to you.

It's a hard situation with a lot of these Muslims. The most of them really do want a change from what they were going through in the old country - but when they get here, I guess fears and things make them start clinging to the old ways. I guess it's only natural not to want everything about your heritage to be erased or discounted. Most people who transplant here maintain at least some of their old ways. It's good to keep some of the different cultures alive.
Anyway - I've felt really horrid for the last two days. I'm not totally sure what's wrong but I suspect it's from one of my idiotic neighbors who went out and left her gas on. It finally got so strong everybody in the building noticed so now the landlord is sending a locksmith to open her door and turn it off. They're going to leave the key with me and I'm concerned because she's going to be pissed and blame me. I know her - she's very paranoid about stuff like this so I hope she doesn't get all crazy on me.
I'd much rather not even be involved if that was possible but I have my civic duty to do here after all. Nobody else is home during the day except myself and another person who works out of the apartment but that person isn't friends with this lady so I'm the one who is elected.
Fun.
Gas makes me nauseous. YUK.

Yeah, you'd definately be a taker here at my office. Needing your job to be protected, etc.
I spent some time around a bunch of union employees recently. Holy crap what a bunch of whiners, if their jobs weren't protected these folks would have been out on the street years ago.
This one fella works in a prison and all he could do is talk about his retirement (still a decade away) and how his healthcare costs went up (it's another $4.50 per paycheck they're taking out!) and how his future pension was recently cut in half due to budget cuts. His company quickly became tiresome.
It's strange how people who enjoy their work and do positive things for the community as well as their employers never think about stopping. I sure don't, I'll never stop doing what I love.

Did I say anything about rounding anyone up??? You remind me of those idiots that classify a whole group of people by the actions of a few.
As a Catholic, I do not consider the Westboro Baptist Church as a Christian Church and in fact the Catholic Church does not recognize its Baptism as legitimate.
I also do not consider the Klan as a Christian group nor the IRA or their Protestant counterparts.
As someone who has three cousins who are Muslim, I sure as hell do not consider all Muslims Terrorists but, I sure as hell do not try to deny the fact that there are Islamo-Terrorists like you seem to be trying to do.

Grim, the Klan calls themselves a Christian group, as does the Westboro inbreds. Maybe we should round up Christians... The way the right wants to put round up Muslims and paint them all with one brush.
So, is God mad at Oklahoma or not?

"...yeah, I'm a republican because I understand the reality of business?..."
Actually that is true. If you understand business you most likely are a republican.
Let me explain.
Liberals in our office: Pay me more and I'll do more.
Conservs in our office: If I do more they'll pay me more.
In fact, one of the liberals we laid off (right after Obama was re-elected) said he was going to talk to his lawyer and we had a lawsuit coming. Before he walked out the door we gave him our lawyers information and told him our lawyer would be in contact with him. Nothing ever happened.
Another thing. In business, we refer to takers and earners. A taker is usually a gov't type employee who works for you. Always expects a job to be there, doesn't do anything to help the company better itself, etc. Sounds like a liberal to me.
An earner, like myself, betters the company name by doing things beneficial to the company in any number of ways. The company values me because I bring it business. Most of the earners at this company are conservs. We get involved in local and statewide politics because if you design highways for a living, what better way to get a highway contract than to plant yourself in front of the guy who lobbies for highways at the state capital?
Some of the libs here at work hear some of the things we do and get all bent out of shape about it. Little do they know the things they hate that we do keep them employed.

yes... so does that make it right?
And as a conservative who talks about "state's rights" all the time, how can you excuse the S.C. for overriding Florida's elections laws?

Talk about a disgusting waste of your tax dollars. His wages should be garnished and sent to the Red Cross
Mainly because the President can't admit he did not win any war on terrorism.

Has anyone proved that any of the 500 organizations did anything wrong?
Did anyone at the IRS ask the NAACP for the content of their prayers, their donor lists? Yeah right Shamen, I don't know anything and you are an expert on everything.....why the hell do you think VJ came has not mentioned the IRS? Because he knows that it acted illegally and so he post garbage about some homo even though he supports homos.

You don't have to like what the IRS did,but damned if you can call anything more than them doing their jobs. Why weren't you howling like a banshee, when they went after the NAACP after the Bush regime stole the elections in 99'? Oh right,we weren't around. But I'm sure that if we were, you would have had a thing or two to say to those folks right? You are such a fucking hypocrite that it gives me dry heaves. You have become quite the bender of the truth in your later years, and I'm wondering what might be behind that. Might I suggest Ginko Biloba to fire up that gray matter which works on a purely selective basis?
